Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Mandi Caldwell is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who believes healing is a collaborative process that unfolds through presence, trust, and connection. She uses a holistic approach that considers the emotional, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of mental well-being partnered with empathy, respect, compassionate listening, and evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in May 2024, and has clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, treatment resistant depression, crisis intervention and addiction medicine. She has been a registered nurse specializing in mental health at the VA hospital since 2017. She is especially passionate about assisting and serving the veteran population as they navigate mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, addiction, ADHD and life transitions. She understands the impact of early experiences, systemic stress, and identity has on mental health. Through thoughtful medication management, therapeutic intervention, lifestyle support, integrated care and collaboration she works to help clients feel seen, empowered, and reconnected with their inner resilience.
Outside of clinical work, Mandi finds inspiration in reading, mindfulness, meditation, spending time in nature and spending time with her two sons Michael and Ashton. She maintains up to date knowledge by continuing to attend educational conferences and reading evidenced based research to commit to healing-centered care.
